Coolangatta Estate is the oldest European settlement on the NSW South Coast, originally built by convicts in 1822. Arthur and Florrie Bishop later moved to Coolangatta in 1918. Over 107 years, five generations of Bishops — Arthur, Col, Greg, Ben, and now young Harry — have lived and worked on the property, continuing what is believed to be Australia’s longest-running agricultural business.

All viticulture is carried out onsite by the Bishop family, with the wines crafted at Tyrrell’s to showcase the character of the Shoalhaven’s unique coastal terroir. With nearly 2,300 awards across regional, national, and international shows, Coolangatta is believed to be Australia’s most awarded boutique winery — a legacy built quietly over decades of dedication and care.

The Estate is best known for its Semillon, Riesling, and Sparkling Chardonnay. Open 7 days for cellar door tastings.
