Silos Estate offers a truly unique holiday experience. Whether you have come to relax in a cottage overlooking our vineyards, tour the winery; sample our wines, view art or enjoy a meal in the restaurant – at Silos Estate you can do it all.
The estate is a working vineyard operating from buildings used in the original dairy farm established in 1870. The premises have now been fully restored and house award winning accommodation, cellar door, art gallery and a restaurant. Visitors can enjoy a walk around the vineyard followed by a tasting of our wine or a browse through the art gallery at the cellar door, enjoy a meal at the award-winning restaurant or stay the evening at our luxurious country cottages.
Our accommodation is nestled amongst sprawling vineyards and landscaped grounds providing a special place to stay for a weekend or longer. Be captivated by the magnificent views – rolling green hills, the Great Dividing Range escarpment and the vineyard.
Only minutes from historic Berry, National Parks, Jervis Bay, Kangaroo Valley, beaches, rainforest, and other wineries, Silos Estate is located just 2 hours south of Sydney and 3 hours east of Canberra on the popular South Coast of New South Wales.
It is truly the ideal destination to be welcomed home…be our guest.
Yesterday there was a dreadful accident involving a member of the Silos Family on the Princes Highway. He was airlifted to Sydney at around two o’clock; injuries are serious; and now we hope and pray for the best. Thank-you for all your calls, enquiries, flowers and the like…they are appreciated. We will not be providing any additional information other than below to respect the privacy of the family involved.
To the paramedics, police, ambulance, fire fighters and RFS, air ambulance and doctors (and the doctor that just happened to be driving by)…thank you so very much.
Think you pay too much tax? Think again. Seeing first hand the compassion, care and support that he received yesterday reminds us how blessed we are to live in Australia.
Silos Estate remains open, but Silos Kitchen will run a much smaller service for the next little while. All current and future bookings will be honoured - we stay open at the request of, and to support, his family - who have been part of Silos for over 16 years. Please bear with us when you visit as we navigate the next few weeks and months.
And if you have a moment today, spare a thought/prayer for his recovery - and also for the other driver for whom life will probably never be quite the same again either.

So sorry to hear this and wishing for the best of outcomes 💜 As well as our tax-paid first responders please also have in your thoughts the crew of the Toll helicopter who, on the South Coast, carry a Careflight rescue response doctor and nurse on board who will have cared for him as he was transported to Sydney. Careflight is a great charity and worthy of our support.
