Now a second-generation family business, Cambewarra Estate has been producing estate-grown and estate-made wines for more than 30 years. The family’s hands-on approach flows through everything they do, from winemaking to hospitality, with a strong connection to place and community.
The vineyard grows four varietals, Chardonnay, Verdelho, Chambourcin and Cabernet Sauvignon, which form the foundation of a delicious and approachable range designed to be enjoyed with food and good company.
The Estate is open Friday to Sunday and selected public holidays, welcoming visitors to enjoy lunch, high tea, wine tasting paddles, local craft beer, cocktails and a stroll through the on-site Shoalhaven Art Gallery. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and guests can also stay on site in one of three unique accommodation options: The Boathouse, The Dairy or The Cottage.
Bookings for dining, drinks, high tea and wine tastings can be made via the Cambewarra Estate Winery website, with accommodation bookings available online through the Stay section.

Drawing from moments of stillness and connection in nature, her works offer gentle reflections on place, memory, and environmental fragility. In A Quiet Reflection, Liz invites us to pause and immerse ourselves in the subtle beauty of the Australian landscape, especially the Shoalhaven region, where most of these pieces were born. Her paintings are tender records of time spent outdoors: days by the ocean, quiet bushwalks, shared artist retreats, and the quiet intimacy of camping under open skies. Liz’s work speaks to a reverence for the Earth and a concern for its vulnerability. She reminds us that while nature is bountiful and magical, it is not limitless. Her art becomes both a tribute and a call, a gentle urging to step outside the artificial constructs of modern life and reconnect with what truly matters. We are very excited to be launching the Shoalhaven Community Art Gallery at Cambewarra Estate Winery. The gallery will open with an exciting exhibition celebrating 50 local Shoalhaven artists. The exhibition will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout November and December. On Sunday the 3rd of November between 2pm and 4pm we will be holding a 'Gallery Opening Celebration' ... entry to the exhibition is free. After the initial November / December exhibition, the art gallery will operate as an ongoing Shoalhaven Community Art Gallery, providing an opportunity for local artists to always have somewhere to display their art. Calling all Artists from across the Shoalhaven, you are invited to submit artwork to celebrate the launching of the new Cambewarra Estate Art Gallery. To celebrate the opening of the Art Gallery, we are inviting artists to submit art for our inaugural Shoalhaven Community Art Exhibition. The exhibition will run for two months across November and December. Entry is open to all artists over the age of 16, living in the Shoalhaven / South Coast regions.
